3.1 Structure and Components

3.1.1 Stirring Motor: The output shaft speed of the stirring motor is 270 rpm, meeting the national standard requirement of 250 rpm to 300 rpm. The output shaft of the stirring motor is connected to a stirring rod, which can extend into the solution below for stirring, ensuring thorough mixing of substances such as limestone dissolved in the beaker.

3.1.2 Acid Injection Port: The acid injection port is made of acid and alkali-resistant materials, providing corrosion resistance to acidic or alkaline solutions. The titration acid hose can be inserted into this port, allowing acid to flow into the beaker below.

3.1.3 pH Meter: The pH meter is an electrode sensor used to measure the pH value of the solution in the beaker below. Connected to the instrument, it enables real-time monitoring of the solution's pH. The pH meter is equipped with a protective cover; when not in use for extended periods, please cover it with the protective cover to keep the pH meter moist. The performance of the pH/ORP meter largely depends on electrode maintenance. First, regularly clean the electrode to ensure it remains uncontaminated, and recalibrate it periodically to correct slope errors that may develop over time. For calibration procedures, refer to the relevant sections later. Second, ensure the electrode is immersed in the measured solution during both the reaction process and after discharge, as failure to do so will shorten its lifespan. Also, keep the cable connector clean and free from moisture or water ingress.

Activation: If the electrode has been stored in a dry environment, soak it in distilled water for 24 hours before use to activate it. Otherwise, significant errors may occur in calibration and measurement.

Cleaning: If the electrode is contaminated and affecting measurement accuracy, gently brush the electrode head with a soft brush and rinse with clean water.
